Smartforms, represented by Al Madina group, has been awarded a prestigious Bank Muscat’s Best Electronic Merchant Award as Best e-Commerce for three consecutive years, 2014, 2015 and 2016. This award illustrates the contribution of Smartforms for being partners in progress by using Bank Muscat’s e-Payment Gateway for online payments
in Sultanate of Oman.
Al Raffd has won the GCC Award 2015 for the category “Best eGovernment Integrated
Services – Individual / Business Sector” on 25 November 2015. This award is granted
to the best eGovernment service that reflects the integration amongst a group of
country's ministries and institutions to offer a high efficiency, tangible service
to individuals and the business sector.
The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Manpower, received United Nations
Public Service Awards (UNPSA) 2010 on the sidelines of a conference held in Barcelona,
Spain, on ‘the role of public service in achieving the Millennium Development Goals:
Challenges and Best Practices’. the Ministry of Manpower bagged in the category
of ‘Improving the Delivery of Public Services’.
The Ministry of Manpower has won the Sultan Qaboos Award for Excellence in eGovernment-2010.
The award aims to honor excellent performance, apply international standards in
evaluating the degree of development in eServices, support the Digital Oman strategy,
as well as strengthen IT and telecommunications in the fields of economic, social
and cultural development. The Ministry of Manpower bagged the award for eEconomy
Award: Manpower IT enable Service Centers (SANAD offices).
Civil Status System (National Registration System) received the prestigious global
UN Public Service Award on 23rd June 2009 under Category 2: Improving the delivery
of services. This award is the most prestigious international recognition of excellence
in public service. It rewards the creative achievements and contributions of public
service institutions that lead to a more effective and responsive public administration
in countries worldwide.
